Blue Green Seaside Urn

The blue-green glaze of this urn has a rich earthy matt finish, which conjures up an elemental feel of earth and perhaps sea air.  The unique shape of this urn conveys a medieval-like form. The technique of windows or openings carved into the base and around the top edge add to its uniqueness .  The lid acts as a small container, with an opening on the underside, which can hold a piece of jewelry or other memory token inside.
